Team 24 Scenic Design
|
Atlassian decided to take a "digital first" approach to their flagship user conference, Team. This meant the scenic needed to feel big enough for a 4,000+ in-person audience but intimate enough to capture the attention of 1:1 viewers watching at home and on demand. But, wait, there's more. This same year, Atlassian went through a total 180 rebrand—including messaging. They needed scenic that brought the new brand to life while also conveying their new brand promise, Impossible Alone.
We built scenic that focused on a center stage area with layers and textures to add depth and dimension to camera shots, while also adding a center LED screen for "weatherman" style content delivery moments that eliminated the need for overusing PIP windows in the broadcast feed. This scenic needed to also scale to fit their Super Session rooms (content breakouts), giving Team a wholistic feel for attendees. The big content moments happened in Super Sessions making the space almost more important than the keynote room.
